First, consider taking up some kind of active hobby. If you are one of those people who have trouble staying on a treadmill for lack of interest, than what you need is an active hobby that will keep your attention. Tennis, basketball, jogging, or even hiking are all good things to get into. Get together with some people who also enjoy these things, and do some stuff together. Make sure you do it at least two or three times a week too. I bet you will notice a difference pretty soon!
Another tip is to cut back on food you don’t need. Maybe just restrict yourself to eating at mealtimes. Or, don’t eat if your stomach is not growling! Eating just for the fun of it is bad for anyone’s waistline, and it will certainly not further your weight loss goals, that’s for sure!
And lastly, set small monthly goals for yourself. Make them easy to meet, and then you will not get discouraged. Try just going for a couple of pounds a month, and keep it consistent.
